UPPER PERKIOMEN VALLEY/PHOENIXVILLE: 18
The Methacton Girls Track and Field Team improved their record to 4 - 0 on the season with wins against Phoenixville by a score of 124 - 25 and Upper Perkiomen by a score of 132 - 18. Seline Tan-Torres has a near perfect meet, winning the 400M and 800M, along with being a member of the winning 4x400 and 4x800 relays. Gabby Becattini won 3 events, the Long Jump, Triple Jump and 200M run. Kara Steinke broke her own school record in the 3200M Run, completing the race in 10:45.6. Mel Leszcynski remained undefeated in the PAC 10 with wins in the Javelin and Discus. Other event winner included: Lizzy Shadle in the 300M Hurdles, Shannon Palmer in the 1600M Run, Haley Kramer in the 100M Hurdles, Christine Jeffers in the Shot Put and Vicki Schaffer in the High Jump.
