The Methacton Girls Track and FIeld Team continued its strong outdoor season by taking home 19 medals at the Viking Invitational held at Perkiomen Valley High School. They also had 9 District qualifying performances and a Meet Record.  Seline Tan-Torres set the Meet Record by winning the 800M run in 2:20.67 and also ran on the winning 4x400 Relay team with Elexa Sherman, Kelly Fields and Kaitlyn Saal-Ridpath, who ran a PA #1 time of 4:01.69.  Sherman finished just behind Tan-Torres in the 800M at 2:20.79.  Saal-Ridpath added a 2nd place finish in the 400M at 1:01.23 and a 6th in the 200M at 27.50 seconds. Shannon Palmer also added a 2nd place finish in the 1600M run at 5:17.77.

Lizzy Shadle had a phenominal meet, finishing first in the 300M Hurdles with a PA #1 time of 46.01 seconds.  She also finished 3rd in the 100M at 12.91 seconds.  Gabby Becattini was the winner in the 100M Hurdles at 15.95 seconds, while Haley Kramer finished 3rd at 16.04 seconds.  Mel Leszcynski took home a gold in the javelin at 120' 10" and 4th in the Discus at 91' 5".  Kristin Beatty was the winner of the Pole Vault at 9' 0", while Olivia Lee placed 3rd at 8' 0".  Other medal winners include Meredith Foulke - 3rd in the 3200 (11:39.06), Vicki Schaffer - 4th in the High Jump ( 4' 10"), Ritu Saxena - 5th in the Long Jump (15' 6.5"), the 4x100 Relay of Kelly Fields, Kelly Glatthorn, Vicki Schaffer and Gabby Becattini (3rd - 51.69), and the Freshman/Sophomore Sprint Medley of Hailey Sherman, Dana Arcagelo, Ashley Lucidonio and Rebecca Li (2nd - 4:33.37).
