Boys Varsity Track and Field: PAC 10 Championships

The Boy's track team displayed balance and a total team effort during the PAC 10 Track and Field Championships this weekend (5-11-12 and 5-12-12). Despite facing the absence of several of their teammates the team rallied to a solid 2nd place finish versus their PAC 10 rivals.
Earning medals and top place finishes for the Warriors were:
Kevin Kennedy (Long jump and Triple jump ), Evan Hammond (discus ), James Rees (pole vault), Pat Hopkins (3200m run), Stephen Fiorentino (110m and 300m hurdles), and Nick Delaney (shotput).
The boys 4X800 relay team of Pat Hopkins, Ryan Clee, Curtis Watro and Tom Duffy ran an amazing time of 8:03.23 which was the fastest by a Methacton team in years.
This weekend that foursome and teammates Steve Fiorentino, Kevin Kennedy, Scott McFarlin and James Rees will represent Methacton at the District I Track and Field Championship Meet
