Girls JV Basketball vs. Perkiomen Valley School District

Warriors Lose: 22 - 27
The JV Lady Warriors finished their season in an unfavorable fashion as they fell to Perkiomen Valley 27-22.  Freshman Paige Deal had 8 points and 8 rebounds.  Fellow Freshman Allison Hazlett had 5 points and 10 rebounds.  Junior Sara Markley had 5 points, Freshman Madia Mazzucola 2 points and Sophomore Sydney Hargrove also had 2 points to close out the scoring.  The team finished the season with a record of 10-9 overall and 8-5 against the PAC.

Warriors Win: 28 - 10
The JV Lady Warriors won their third straight game and have gone 9-3 after a 1-5 start after a 28-10 win over Owen J. Roberts.  Freshman Allison Hazlett had 9 points and Sophomore Caroline Pellicano 7 points to lead the way.  Junior Sara Markley added 5 points.  Freshman Madia Mazzucola had 3 points.  And Junior Dalia Layos and Sophomore Sydney Hargrove closed out the scoring with 2 points each.  The team is now 10-8 on the season and 8-4 vs the PAC.

Warriors Win: 35 - 25
The JV Lady Warriors moved over .500 for the first time this season with a 35-25 win at Penn Wood.  The win moved the teams record to 9-8 on the season.  Junior Sara Markley led the way with 9 points ans 6 rebounds.  Freshman Paige Deal followed up with 8 points and 7 rebounds.  Fellow Freshman Allison Hazlett also had a strong game with 5 points and 8 rebounds. Sophomores Caroline Pellicano 5 points, Sydney Hargrove 4 points and Freshman Madia Mazzucola with 4 points closed out the scoring.

Warriors Win: 44 - 23
The JV Lady Warriors led 19 -12 at the half but put Norristown behind them with a 25-11 second half advantgae winning 44-23 at Norristown.  Sophomore Caroline Pellicano had 14 points and 4 rebounds.  Freshmen Madia Mazzucola had 9 points, Allison Hazlett 6 points (8 rebounds) and Paige Deal 5 points all had strong games also.  Sophomore Sydney Hargrove had 4 points and Juniors Dalia Layos 4 points and Sara Markley 2 points closed out the scoring.  The team is now 8-8 on the season and 7-4 against the PAC.

Warriors Lose: 12 - 29
The JV Lady Warriors struggled through a cold second half and fell to Spring-Ford 29-12.  The loss dropped the teams record to 7-8 on the year and 6-4 against in PAC.  Freshman Madia Mazzucola had 5 points.  Freshman Allison Hazlett had 3 points.  Sophomores Caroline Pellicano and Sydney Hargrove had 2 points each.

Warriors Win: 38 - 37
The JV Lady Warriors won in dramatic fashion coming back from 6 points down in the final two minutes of the game winning 38-37 at Boyertown.  Freshman Madia Mazzucola completed the comeback scoring the go ahead basket on a driving lay up with four seconds remaining.  Junior Sara Markley lead the team in scoring with 9 points and 6 rebounds and also had a big three late in the game to cut the Boyertown lead to 1.  Mazzucola had 7 points.  Freshman Allison Hazlett had a solid game with 6 points and 11 rebounds.  Sophomores Caroline Pellicano and Sydney Hargrove had 5 points each.  Freshmen Catherin Connolly, Paige Deal and Junior Dalia Layos had 2 points each to close out the scoring.  The team is now 7-7 on the season overall and 6-3 against the PAC.  They have won three straight and 6 of their last 8 games.

Warriors Win: 33 - 30
The JV Lady Warriors had a hot first half leading by 11 at 26-15 at the break.  But then they had to hang on down the stretch and overcome a scoring drought in the second half for a hard fought 33-30 win over Upper Merion.  The win moved the teams record to 6-7 overall and 5-3 against the PAC.  Freshman Madia Mazzucola had a full stat line with 8 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals.  Fellow Freshman Allison Hazlett and Sophomore Caroline Pellicano added 7 points each.  Junior Sara Markley had 6 points and Freshman Paige Deal had 3 points.  Freshman Catherine Connolly and Sophomore Sydney Hargrove had 1 point each to close out the scoring.

The JV Lady Warriors moved their record to 5-7 on the season with a 43-32 win over Pottsgrove.  Freshman Madia Mazzucola led the team in scoring with 11 points.  Sophomore Sydney Hargrove had 9 points.  Freshman Allison Hazlett had 7 points (9 rebounds).  Freshmen Paige Deal and Caraline Newman and Junior Sara Markley had 4 points each.  Sophomore Caroline Pellicano added 3 points and Junior Dalia Layos added 1 point to close out the scoring.

Warriors Lose: 35 - 39
The JV Lady Warriors started out sluggish and trailed 20-9 at the half.  Trailing by as many as 15 in the second half the Lady Warriors never quit and got the Perkiomen Valley lead down to two points with just under 10 seconds remaining before falling 39-35.  Freshman Madia Mazzucola led the team in scoring with 12 points.  Junior Sara Markley followed up with 11 points.  Freshmen Paige Deal and Allison Hazlett had 5 points each.  And Junior Dalia Layos had two points to close out the scoring.  The team is now 4-7 on the season.

Warriors Win: 52 - 14
The JV Lady Warriors won for the third time in their last four games with a 52-14 win over Pottstown.  The teams record improved to 4-6 on the season and 3-2 vs PAC oppeonents.  Leading the way in scoring was Freshman Alli Hazlett who had 15 points and 7 rebounds.  Fellow Freshmen Madia Mazzucola 14 points and Caraline Newman 7 points followed up Hazlett.  Also scoring was Sophomore Sydney Hargrove 6 points, Junior Dalia Layos 4 points, Freshman Paige Deal 4 points and Freshman Catherine Connolly 2 points.

Warriors Lose: 42 - 45
The JV Lady Warriors jumped out to an early 15-9 lead but found themselves tied at 23 at the half.  Lansdale Catholic outscored them in the second half 22-19 to take a 45-42 victory.  Freshmen Allison Hazlett 15 points (7 rebounds) and Paige Deal 8 points (8 rebounds) led the team with the top stat lines for the game.  Fellow Freshman Madia Mazzucola added 5 points (5 rebounds, 4 assists).  Juniors Sara Markley 5 points and Dalia Layos 4 points and Sophomore Caroline Pellicano 5 points closed out the scoring.  The teams record fell to 3-6 on the season.

The JV Lady Warriors won their second game in a row to move their record to 3-5 on the season with a 27-23 win over Owen J. Roberts.  Junior Sara Markley had the line of the game scoring 10 poiints and pulling down 6 rebounds. Freshman Allison Hazlett and 7 points and 10 rebounds.  Sophomore Caroline Pellicano had 5 points, Freshman Madia Mazzucola 3 points and Sophomore Sydney Hargrove 2 points to close out the scoring in the game.

Warriors Win: 29 - 25
The JV Lady Warriors improved their record to 2-5 on the season with a 29-25 victory over Norristown.  Freshman Madia Mazzucola had another solid game with 11 points and 5 rebounds.  Sophomore Sydney Hargrove also played well with 11 points and 5 steals.  Freshman Allison Hazlett 3 points, Junior Sara Markley 2 points and Sophomore Caroline Pellicano 2 points were the other scorers for the team in the win.

Warriors Lose: 28 - 47
The JV Lady Warriors were tied 6-6 after 1 quarter but a 19-4 SpringFord blitz in the second changed the game quickly as the Lady Warriors fell 47-28 at SpringFord.  Freshman Madia Mazzucola had 9 points to lead the way in scoring.  Another Freshman Allison Hazlett had a solid game with 7 points and 8 rebounds.  Sophomore Sydney Hargrove had 4 points.  Freshman Catherine Connolly 3 points.  Sophomore Caroline Pellicano and Freshman Paige Deal had 2 points each and Freshman Caraline Newman added 1 point.

Warriors Lose: 25 - 27
The JV Lady Warriors suffered a tough defeat 27-25 in overtime against Great Valley.  The Lady Warriors led narrowly at the end of the first three quarters.  But Great Valley tied the game up in the final seconds of the fourth quarter to force OT.  The only scoring in the OT was two Great Valley free throws.  The teams record dropped to 1-4 on the season.  Freshman Madia Mazzucola led the team in scoring with 13 points.  Sophomore Caroline Pellicano added 6 points.  Juniors Sara Markley and Dalie Layos along with Sophomore Sydney Hargrove added two points each.

Warriors Lose: 27 - 42
The JV Lady Warriors fell to Boyertown 42-27 to fall to 1-3 on the season.  Freshman Allison Hazlett had 11 points and 6 rebounds in the game.  Fellow Freshman Madia Mazzucola added 8 points.  Juniors Sara Markley and Dalia Layos and Sophomores Caroline Pellicano and Sydney Hargrove all had 2 points each.

Warriors Win: 31 - 23
The JV Lady Warriors earned their first win of the season with a hard fought 31-23 victory over Souderton.  The Lady Warriors found themselves tied 19-19 with the Indians after three quarters, but used a 12-4 4th quarter advantage to get the victory.  Freshman Paige Deal lead the way with a solid all around game scoring 8 points and pulling down 6 rebounds.  Junior Sara Markley scored 7 points.  Sophomore Caroline Pellicano scored 6 points and pulled down 7 rebounds.  Freshmen Allison Hazlett and Madia Mazzucola each scored 4 points and Junior Dalia Layos added 2.  The team is now 1-2 on the season.

Warriors Lose: 17 - 38
The JV Lady Warriors struggled offensively the whole game against a sound defense Mount squad and fell 38-17.  Sophomore Caroline Pellicano had 5 points, Freshman Alli Hazlett had 4 points and Freshman Paige Deal 3 points (8 rebounds) to lead the Lady Warriors.  Also adding points were Freshman Madia Mazzucola and Junior Dalia Layos with 2 points each and Sophomore Sydney Hargrove had 1 point.  The team fell to 0-2 on the season.

The JV Lady Warriors led by two points heading into the fourth quarter but only managed 5 points in the final quarter and dropped their opener 29-27 to Ridley.  Sophomore Caroline Pellicano led the team in scoring with 8 points (5 rebounds).  Freshman Alli Hazlett added 6 points while Sophomore Sydney Hargrove had 5 points (8 rebounds).  Freshman Madia Mazzucola had 4 points and Freshman Paige Deal and Junior Dalia Layos has 2 points each to close the scoring.
