Attached is the letter sent home about parent pick up:
Please reread at your convienence.
The 7th grade boys tennis team will still be dismissed at 4:50 PM. You may pick your son up in the parking lot in front of the tennis courts at that time if you can find an open parking space.
If you are later than 4:50 PM, your son must wait in the front of the building for pick up. Park your car and he will walk to you.
No boy should be loaded from the driving lanes of the parking area.
Remember if you are carpooling or if your son has permission to walk home, I need a note signed and dated by the parent. One note is good for the entire season.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
The spring athletic season has begun and we have noticed problems with the current pick up procedure at 5:00. Because safety of the athletes is a top priority both on the fields and in the parking lot, we have decided to split the pickup locations for the 5:00 athletic dismissal.
Starting Friday, March 18, 2011 we will divide the location of athlete pickup between the front and back of the Arcola building. The following list will identify where your son/daughter will be picked up at 5:00 for the rest of the season.
Back of the building
Boys’ Track and Field
Softball
Girls’ Lacrosse
Front of the building
Girls’ Track and Field
Baseball
Boys’ Tennis
Please continue to arrive at 5:00 and use the parking lot spaces to wait for your child. The athletes will be instructed to exit the building and look for your vehicle. Parking along the curb will slow down the pickup and will be an unsafe environment for the athletes.
