Boy's Track and Field Team Defeats Upper Perk

The Methacton Boy's Track and Field team defeated their counterparts from Upper Perkiomen 84-66 in PAC 10 competition Wednesday.
Kevin Kennedy helped to lead the Warriors earning three first place finishes (Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump).
Additional first place finishers for the Warriors included: Scott McFarland in the 400m (52.3), Stephen Fiorentino in the 110m Hurdles (15.8), Curtis Watro in the 800m run (2:04.9), Ryan Clee in the 3200m run (10.25.7), James Rees in the Pole Vault (13') and Nick Delaney in the shot put (46' 3.75"). The 4x800 relay team of Tom Duffy, Matt Schulz, Curtis Watro and Alec Fox also earned a first place finish.
Sophomore Mike Cassidy threw a team seasonal best 131' 1" in the discus.
Temple Owl football recruit Ronnie Gillespie ran to impressive victories in the 100m (10.7) and 200m (22.0) dashes for Upper Perk.
Methacton's boys are currently 7-1 in their PAC 10 competition. They will head to OJ Roberts next week for a key match-up versus the Wildcats.
