Game summary

The Spring-Ford Rams faced a tough test against a young, feisty Warriors team that fought tooth and nail throughout the contest. However, in the end,the experienced Rams used stifling defensive pressure to dash any hopes for a Warrior upset in their 60-36 victory.

After falling into an 18-12 hole after a quarter of play, Methacton’s Jenna Carroll hit an inside shot to start the second quarter. From that point though, Spring-Ford put on the defensive clamps and rolled to a 17-3 run over the next seven minutes.  And they never looked back to take a 35-17 lead into the break.  The Lady Warriors continued to battle throughout the second half in a hard fought defeat.

Junior Kelsey Watson posted a double-double and was the games leading scorer with 18 points and 12 rebounds.

The Lady warriors fell to 1-3 overall and 1-1 in the league.
