The Lady Warriors basketball team had a big weekend with two wins, moving their winning streak to nine straight games and wins in 12 out of their last 13 games.  The PAC-10 league win over Pottsgrove on Friday night 61-19 and Philadelphia Public League Freiere Charter on Saturday 53-33 moved their record to 13-4 on the season overall and 8-1 in the PAC-10.

Friday Recap

The Lady Warriors stretched their winning streak to 8, blowing out to a 25-2 lead by the end of the first quarter and never looking back vs the Falcons.  Senior Maddy Parker hit 8 of 12 shots from the floor for 16 points and picked up 5 steals.  Sophomore Kelly Glatthorn nailed a pair of treys and finished with 13 points, 11 in the opening half.  Junior Kelsey Watson collected 7 rebounds, 6 points and 5 steals.

Saturday Recap

Sophomore Kelly Glatthorn led a balanced scoring effort with 15 points, propelling the streaking Lady Warriors.  The victory was the ninth straight for the Lady Warriors and their 12^thin the last 13 outings.  The Lady Warriors ran out to a 17-2 lead by the end of the first quarter and were never threatened.  Senior Maddy Parker (11 points) and Sophomore Jenna Carroll (10) also hit double figures for the Lady Warriors who were bolstered by Junior Kelsey Watson’s 11 rebounds and 8 points. Glatthorn picked up 5 steals and hit two threes while Parker and Carroll both corralled 6 boards.
