The Lady Warriors Kelly Glatthorn took care of business in more ways than one Tuesday night. First, the Lady Warriors Senior guard hit the 1,000-point career milestone with a layup off the opening tip. Glathhorn is now the 4th girls player in school history to reach the 1,000 mark. She did stop there though as then she added 22 more points the rest of the way to lift the Lady Warriors to a 52-50 nonleague victory over Cheltenham in a preview of Saturday’s District One-Class AAAA Tournament opener. As luck would have it, the 12th-seeded Lady Warriors, who face Spring-Ford Wednesday night (7 p.m.) for the PAC-10 championship at Phoenixville, will host the No. 21 Panthers Saturday in the first round of districts. Jenna Carroll posted a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Warriors, which used a fast start to seize control. The Warriors led 16-12 after one quarter and 26-17 at the break before holding off Cheltenham down the stretch to raise their overall record to 17-6.
