Lady Warriors take down Boyertown in PAC opener

The Lady Warriors used a 10-point advantage in the fourth quarter to beat Boyertown, 39-31, in a repeat of last season’s Pioneer Athletic Conference championship game.
Junior Abby Penjuke finished with a double-double, scoring a game-high 13 points to go along with 14 rebounds as Lady Warriors (2-2 overall) moved to 1-0 in the PAC’s Liberty Division.
Boyertown entered the fourth quarter with a 25-23 lead, but was outscored in the final eight minutes, 16-6. Sophomore Sydney Tornetta chipped in with six points in the win.
