Senior Nicole Timko cashed in a game-high 31 points and delivered 6 assists as the Lady Warriors continued to dominate their own season-opening tournament with the wire-to-wire romp Saturday 79-52 over Villa Joseph Marie.
The Lady Warriors (2-0) now have won three straight Lady Warrior Classic titles and 7 overall in the 13-year history of the event.
Other key contributors for the locals were Freshman Abby Arnold (14 points), Senior Tori Bockrath (11 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists), Junior Mairi Smith (13 rebounds, 7 points), Junior Cassidy Kropp (10 points) and Senior Kayla Kaufman (7 rebounds, 4 points).
Timko, who now has 202 career treys, finished with a trio of triples, matching the total of Bockrath from deep. Kropp and Timko were also named to the All-Tournament team.
