Lady Warriors move to 18-2 with 51-39 win over Wilson

Methacton 51, Wilson 39 – Senior Nicole Timko lit up the gym with 23 points, Senior Tori Bockrath added 11 on a trio of three-balls and Junior Mairi Smith stuffed the stat sheet with 7 rebounds, 5 blocks and 4 points to help the Lady Warriors (18-2 overall) get back on track from their only PAC loss of the season.
Coming on the heels of Thursday's 41-38 loss to Perkiomen Valley that halted a 15-game winning streak, Methacton knocked down 8 shots from beyond the arc, shot a perfect 11-for-11 at the free throw line and used a 19-9 advantage in the fourth quarter to dispatch the visiting Bulldogs (13-5).
Timko continued her pursuit of Methacton program scoring leader Renee Womack (2004-08, 1682 points) and is now 109 back with 1573 points.
It was also the Lady Warriors 15th Annual Shoot For The Cure game. The PA Breast Cancer joinied the Lady Warriors for the day to help shoot down breast cancer. See pictures from the event in the pictures link on team page.
