Methacton won their first game of the season on Tuesday defeating Pope John Paul 8-3. Dean Gouda played outstanding playing his first full game in net making several saves and leading successful clears. Methacton spread the scoring around with goals from Harvey Smith (2), Nick Salerno, Connor McCausland (first career goal), Stanley Szcurzek (first career goal), Tommy Rutledge, Gil Price, and Matt Berradelli (first career goal).
