BUCKTOWN – Defending Pioneer Athletic Conference champion Owen J. Roberts rebounded from a season-opening loss and gave first-year coach Eric Wentzel his first career win with a 2-0 PAC-10 shutout of Methacton Wednesday night.

Taylor Dempsey, assisted by Luke Brower, got the Wildcats (1-1 league and overall) on the board in the 3^rd minute before Eli Claxton’s goal off an assist from Ben Huzzard in the 26^th minute provided a 2-0 advantage.

OJR outshot the Warriors 9-7 and got 6 saves from returning all-league netminder Kyle Baker. Taylor LeSage finished with four saves for Methacton (0-1, 0-2), which owned a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.
