BOYERTOWN – Tyler Uhlig collected the winning goal 5 minutes into the first overtime to propel Boyertown to a 2-1 PAC-10 victory over Methacton Thursday afternoon.
Aaron Kulig assisted on the winning strike as the Bears overcame an early deficit and improved to 3-1 in the league and 3-2 overall.
After Matt Carey gave Methacton (1-2-1, 2-4-1) the lead with a first-half tally, Barry Kabinoff got the equalizer – assisted by Cody Bartolucci – just before the break.
A scoreless second half set the stage for Uhlig’s final heroics.
