The Methacton Girls Track and Field Team competed at the annual Robert J. Burdette Indoor Classic at Lehigh University on Thursday and set a Meet Record, 2 School Records and pulled in 12 Top 10 finishes.

Gabby Becattini continued to improve on her PA leading Triple Jump mark, setting both a new school record and breaking the meet record with a leap of 37' 11.5".  That jump is currently #7 in the US.  The sprint medley relay team of Zoe Bongiovanni, Dana Arcangelo, Lizzy Shadle and Elexa Sherman broke another school record with their 4th place finish in 4:32.90.  Emma Sullivan tied her record in set earlier in the season in the pole vault with a 2nd place finish at 10' 0".  The 4x800 Relay team of Elexa Sherman, Shannon Palmer, Brianna Earnshaw and Seline Tan-Torres placed 2nd with a time of 10:04.72.  Palmer added another 2nd place finish in the mile with a time of 5:30.73.  In the open 800M, Tan-Torres placed 4th in a time of 2:28.24.  Christine Jeffers rounded out the top 5 finishers for the Lady Warriors with a season's best and 5th place performance in the shot put at 29' 2.5".

The other top 10 finishers in the meet included:  Haley Kramer (6th) in the 60M Hurdles at 9.87 seconds.  Ritu Saxena (6th) in the High Jump at 4' 8".  The 4x200 Relay (8th) of Lizzy Shadle, Ashley Lucidonio, Kaitlyn Saal-Ridpath and Gabby Becattini with a time of 1:53.26.  Saal-Ridpath in the open 400M (9th) in a time of 1:02.83. The 4x400 Relay (9th) of Shadle, Bongiovanni, Hailey Sherman and Saal-Ridpath in a time of 4:27.45
