The Girls Track and Field Team concluded their regular season DVGT Meets with another school record and several outstanding performances. The 4x800 Relay Team of Elexa Sherman, Shannon Palmer, Nicole Karsch and Seline Tan-Torres crushed their old school record with a winning time of 9:33.70. That performance is currently #2 in PA and #16 in the nation this season. Sherman also ran an outstanding open 800M in 2:24.78 to qualify for both the Meet of Champions and the PA State Championships. Gabby Becattini continued to lead the State in the Triple Jump with her winning jump of 37' 7". Emma Sullivan also continued her strong season in the Pole Vault, placing 3rd at 9' 6". Other top 10 performances included the 4x400 relay team of Kelly Fields, Zoe Bongiovanni, Seline Tan-Torres and Nicole Karsch (7th in a time of 4:14.74), Haley Kramer in the 60M Hurdles (9th at 9.64 seconds), Ritu Saxena in the Long Jump (10th at 16' 3.25") and Kristin Beatty in the Pole Vault (10th at 8' 6").
