Yesterday the Methacton Boys Track Team celebrated  Seniors day by hosting the Bears from Boyertown and the Wildcats of Owen J Roberts and ran away with two league wins beating the Bears 87 ½ to 62 ½  and upending the Wildcats 110 to 40.  From the start of the first race the heavily favored Bears were stunned when Chris McGinnley, Alex Yablonskey, and Chris Huber swept the Bears in the 300 hurdles. This was quickly followed up by the relay team of Mike Clark, Aiden O’Leary, Josh Brycki, and Nick DeFilippis who set the tone for the rest of the day by beating a tough Bear’s team in the 4x 800m relay.  Top performances in individual events by Seniors Nick Shaffer, Griffin Bilicic, Kareem Eleskandarani, Milan Harris, Jim Keenan, John Koehler and Alex Nicoletti helped seal the win and lead the way for the Warriors. Other top performances were turned in by Justin Leggin, Pat Maloney, Karan Singh, Max Jones, and John Keenan. It was a great win with the entire team rallying behind their seniors. The Warriors now set their sights to next week where they will travel to take on Pottstown and Pope John Paul II.
