Three Tabbed to Lead Warriors

The boys lacrosse program is proud to announce the captains for the 2016 spring season.  Seniors Aidan Denecke and Andrew Benci are joined by Junior Kyle Derrickson as the team captains.  They were selected via nomination and voting by their peers and confirmation from the coaching staff.  

Coach Ryan said of the selections "I think our players really got it right this year.  Each of the selections have distinguished themselves both on and off the field for our program and have been filling unofficial leadership roles for quite some time now.  Moreover, each of these young men is an outstanding representation of the type of student athlete we'd like on our team and are truly a credit to Methacton."

Denecke, a Senior, is a returning PAC-10 First Team Attackman who is headed to RPI in the fall to study engineering.  

Benci, also a Senior, will be matriculating to Boston University in the fall to continue his studies and potentially his lacrosse career. 

Derrickson, following a sophomore season that saw him earn First Team All-PAC-10 Defensive honors, assumes a leadership role in his Junior season.  

The Warriors open their season on Tuesday March 29th as they host perennial stalwart Great Valley for the first lacrosse game on the new turf facilities.
