Boys XC Team finishes season with an 8-1 record

The boys team beat Pottstown and Owen J.Roberts closing out their season. The team was lead by Curtis Watro who won the race in a time of 16:42 followed by Matt Schulz at 16:50. The rest of the varsity team were Chris Lawley, Tom Duffy, Jared Kline, Sam Berman and Jeff Kirshenbaum.
Boys Record goes to 6-1 after beating PJP and losing to Pottsgrove

The boys undefeated cross country team had a tri-meet at home against Pope John Paul and an undefeated Pottsgrove team. The boys team beat Pope John Paul and lost a close match to Pottsgrove. The boys team is now 6-1 heading into the last week of the season. The team was lead by Curtis Watro who won the race. He was followed by Tom Duffy, Matt Scbulz, Chris Lawley and freshman star Jeff Kirshenbaum.
Boys record goes to 5-0 beating Upper Perk

The boys cross country team improved their record to 5-0 after beating Upper Perk on their home course. The team was lead by Curtis Watro, who won the race running 16:28, beating the first upper perk runner by one minute and 11 seconds. He was followed by Methacton's power sophmore Matt Schulz (16:49) and Tom Duffy (16:50). Pat Hopkins, returning after a 10 day injury, placed fourth running 17:01. Fifth place was Chris Lawley (17:13) followed by the freshman duo Izaiah Bokunewicz (17:17) and Jeff Kershenbaum (17:20). These varsity runners will be competing at an invitational at Lehigh University tomorrow.

Met hacton Beats Boyertown and Spring-Ford

The boys cross country team continued their winning streak improving their record to 3-0. They beat Boyertown and Spring-Ford at Boyertown. The team was lead by Curtis Watro who ran 3.1 miles in 16:05 setting a Boyertown course record. He was followed by Matt Schulz who ran a 16:12, Chris Lawley who ran a 16:26, followed by Tom Duffy, Jeff Kirshenbaum and Izaiah Bokunewicz. Most of the runners beat their own personal records. A great win. Nice job men.
Methacton Boys Cross Country Team Winds First Meet

The Methacton boys cross country team started off their season with a win against Phoenixville on their home course. Methacton finished in the first 11 places in the race. The team was lead by Curtis Watro who ran his first cross country race as a senior and blew away the competion. He was followed by sophmore Matt Schulz, Pat Hopkins and Chris Lawley. Two Freshman,Jeff Kirshenbaum and Izaiah Bokunewicz took 5th and 6th place. Great job men. This was a great way to open up the season.
