Boys Varsity Track
Hatboro Horsham- The Boys Track team competed against of field of twenty eight schools on Saturday at the Jim Kelly Invitational and came away with some impressive performances taken third place overall in the team scoring event. John Keenan led the way for the Warriors with a 1st place finish in the Javelin throw. Keenan’s throw of 183’0 notched his first gold of the season and set a new meet record.
Mike Clark continued his pace as one of the top 800m runners in the state by finishing his race with a silver medal with a time of 1:59.03 in a field of 46 runners, followed by his running mate Myles Hoven who took home the bronze medal with his own performance best of 2:00.46.
Other medal performances on the day went to the 3rd place finishes by teammates Lucas Carr in the High Jump with a career best jump of 6’.0, Garrett Campbell in the 3000m race who finished with a career best time of 9:30.10, and Alex Yablonski in the 110 hurdles who finished with a career best time of 15.80.
4th place medals went to Tom Chimes in the 3000m race with a career best time of 9:33.23 and Pat Maloney in the Discus, with a throw of 148’2.
The team will travel to Spring Ford on Wednesday
