The streaking Lady Warriors (5-4 Liberty, 8-4 PAC, 12-9 Overall) set the tone with a 12-2 edge in the first quarter and held on down the stretch to register their seventh win in  8 starts 42-40 against Owen J. Senior Jill Zerbe hit four treys on her way to 14 points and Senior Olivia Pennypacker added 11 points but it wasn’t enough as the Lady Warriors (2-3) absorbed the nonleague loss 38-32 at Great Valley High School on Saturday. The Lady Warriors used a 10-point advantage in the fourth quarter to beat Boyertown, 39-31, in a repeat of last season’s Pioneer Athletic Conference championship game. Junior Abby Penjuke finished with a double-double, scoring a game-high 13 points to go along with 14 rebounds as Lady Warriors (2-2 overall) moved to 1-0 in the PAC’s Liberty Division. Boyertown entered the fourth quarter with a 25-23 lead, but was outscored in the final eight minutes, 16-6. Sophomore Sydney Tornetta chipped in with six points in the win. The Lady Warriors fell to 1-2 on the season with a 54-28 loss to Souderton.  Sophomore Sydney Tornetta  hit for 11 points while Junior Abby Penjuke collected 5 points and 6 rebounds for the Lady Warriors in their nonleague loss to high-touted Souderton, ranked as high as No. 2 in the state in Class 6A.
