The Lady Warriors and Rams played a tight evenly contested game for 36 minutes as the Lady Warriors knocked off Springford 42-39 in overtime.  Sophomore Nicole Timko finished with 13  points, including a clutch three-pointer with 2:40 left in overtime to give the Warriors a 40-38 lead they’d never relinquish in their Liberty win over the two-time defending PAC champion Rams. The Lady Warriors played a tough and physical Camden Catholic squad toe to toe to grab a 37-29 victory at the Wildwood Boardwalk Classic.  It was the programs first title in the tournament since 2011 and the fourth overall in their 14 trips to the tournament.   Freshman Cassidy Kropp poured in 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds to power the Lady Warriors to the championship of the General Melini Memorial Bracket at the Wildwood (NJ) Boardwalk Classic at Wildwood Convention Center Saturday afternoon. The Lady Warriors (8-1), which also got strong showings from Sophomore Nicole Timko (9 points) and Seniors Sydney Tornetta (8 points, 6 rebounds) and Sydney Hargrove (9 rebounds, 4 points), used an 11-4 edge in the fourth quarter to pull away from a narrow 26-25 advantage. The Lady Warriors jumped on Upper Perkiomen from the tip in a 61-12 win. Senior Sydney Tornetta delivered 16 points and 9 rebounds, Nicole Timko added 17 points with three treys and Cassidy Kropp posted 10 points and 5 steals to power the Lady Warriors to the PAC crossover romp.  The win moved to team to 6-1 on the season and 3-1 in the PAC. The Lady Warriors got off to a sluggish start but eventually wore down the feisty Lady Vikings for the 43-31 win.  Sophomore Nicole Timko poured in 16 points with four three-balls, Seniors Caroline Pellicano hit for 8 points and Sydney Hargrove (8) and Sydney Tornetta (7) combined for 15 rebounds to carry the Lady Warriors to the PAC Liberty victory.  The team is now 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the PAC and Liberty. Sophomore Nicole Timko poured in 14 points while Senior Sydney Hargrove, Junior Allie Hazlett and Senior Caroline Pellicano (6 rebounds) chipped in with 8 points each as the Lady Warriors went wire-to-wire for the nonleague win 56-36 at Great Valley. Also for Lady Warriors. now 4-1 overall, which raced out to leads of 11-6, 27-12 and 43-21 through the first three quarters, Senior Sydney Tornetta filled the stat sheet with 5 points, 6 rebounds, 6 steals and 5 assists.  She also went over the 800 career total point mark as she now stands at 804 and in eighth place all time. In a rematch of last season’s PAC championship game - a 55-41 Spring-Ford triumph - the Rams continued the domination of their PAC Liberty rivals behind a quick start and the scoring punch of Lucy Olsen (20 points) and Emily Tiffan (12) defeating the Lady Warriors 49-32. For the Lady Warriors who never recovered after falling behind 23-10 after one quarter and 32-14 at the break, Freshman Cassidy Kropp and Senior Sydney Tornetta set the tone with 8 points apiece. The Lady Warriors held on down the stretch as a desperation Boyertown three at the buzzer was no good giving the Lady Warriors a hard fought 46-43 win at Boyertown on Tuesday night in the PAC opener. Freshman Cassidy Kropp and Sophomores Nicole Timko and Tori Bockrath hit for 11 points each and combined for five three-pointers to lead the Lady Warriors.. The Lady Warriors overcame a three-point deficit in the final 2:30 to secure the win, hitting 13 of 17 free throws in the fourth quarter to improve to 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the PAC.
